Bollywood Actress Ayesha Julka

Ayesha Julka was born on 28th July in the Northern Indian city of Srinagar. He father was a Wing Commander in the Indian Air force. She has a sister whose name is Aparna. Ayesha has been a pupil of Loreto Convent in Delhi and studied there till 10th Class and finished her graduation in 1986. She had a steady boyfriend named Rajat Mathur and when their relationship came to an end she decided to shift to Bombay.
After completing her education and began looking for some work to do and in that pursuit of finding work she managed to land a modeling job. Working as a model then became a full time career that last not so long though as she then jumped on to the Bollywood bandwagon. And this way a new career of a beautiful young lady got started.
Her Bollywood career was lunched with the movie ‘Meet Mere Mann Ke’ that was released in the year 1990. Then in 1991 she starred in two more Bollywood movies namely ‘Haye Meri Jaan’ & ‘Kurbaan’. But she turned the tables on everyone in the year 1992 when she starred in 2 massive blockbusters, one being ‘Khiladi’ starring a then fresh looking Akshay Kumar and Deepak Tijori, the movie was directed by director duo Abbas-Mastan while the other hit movie was ‘Jo Jeta Wohi Sikandar’ starring Aamir Khan in the lead role & Pooja Bedi and was directed by Mansoor Khan. Both the movie had great office runs and Ayesha Julka was on top of the world having tasted such enormous successes she was definitely on a high.
The plot of the film ‘Khiladi’ is an often repeated one but the fresh look of all those in the main fold of the movie might have led to it being so widely accepted. Raj Malhotra (Akshay Kumar), Neelam Choudhury (Ayesha Jhulka); Sheetal (Sabeeha), and Boney (Deepak Tijori) decide to play a practical joke on Sheetal's dad, Kailash Nath (Prem
Chopra) who happens to be a very rich man, which involves the fake kidnapping of Sheetal, and a ransom demand of Rupees five Lakhs. Things seems to go according to plan, until they find out that the police, especially Raj's elder brother, Suresh Malhotra (Shakti
Kapoor) have been informed by Nath's servant (Suresh Bhagwat). They elude the police, and manage to get the ransom, and then return to find that Sheetal has been stabbed to death, and the evidence points to the three friends. The film was a super success and gave Ayesha her first major success in Bollywood.
The other movie is of course the big hit and greatly admired ‘Jo Jeta Wohi Sikandar’. The movie is centered around sports wherein two colleges namely – Rajput School which happens to be an affluent college where children of high profile parents come to study and the other college is Model School where the children of less affluent parents having lower income come to study. The movie shows how Sanju (Aamir Khan), a young fellow from the lower strata of income family despite all odds stacked against him beats Shekhar (Deepak Tijori), his arrogant and wealthier rival in an inter-school bicycling race which is the highlight of the small town they reside in. Ayesha plays the love interest of Aamir Khan in this classic. Thereafter Ayesha appeared in more Bollywood movies but somehow never managed to taste the same kind of success. Much of this can be attributed to her own professional failures and the foremost reason is that she had a much hyped affiar with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar with whom she starred in the hit movie ‘Khiladi’. She got so involved that her concentration diminished and her performance too dipped vastly and that spelled dooms for her career. Thus a much promising career never lived up to its full pontential.
