Bollywood Movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is a superhit Bollywood movie that was released in 1998. The movie is directed by David Dhawan who has made movies like Hero No.1, Jodi No.1 & Partner, while the movie was produced by Rumi Jaffery. The movie had a stellar star cast consisting of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda, Anupam Kher, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal & Ramya Krishna who are all great entertainers in their own right and therefore this movie had to be a comedy film. It also happened to be one of the earilest big blockbuster for Amitabh Bachchan after his return to acting after a long lay off. The box office results gave a new lease of life to this legendary actor. Arjun Singh (Amitabh Bachchan) is a police inspector along side Pyare Mohan (Govinda) who also happens to be a police inspector and his colleague. The interest part is that both of them are playing a double role in this movie. So Arjun Singh & Pyare Mohan all the time get blamed for the wrong doing of their look alikes. Their look alikes happens to be petty thieves and all this results in a commedy of errors when the people who witnessed these crimes take come and say that these two were the ones who came and looted them, with so many complains pouring in their senior Police Commissioner Shyamlal (Anupam Kher) is left with no option but to suspend them. But then comes a high profile case where a lady named Neha (Ramya Krishna) happens to have been an eye witness to a murder and claims that she can identify the person who did it. Police Commissioner Shyamlal calls upon Arjun Singh & Pyare Mohan to get back to duty and help protect this girl so that when the case comes up in the court she can testify. Arjun Singh has a younger sister Seema Singh (Raveena Tandon) who is quite fond of Pyare Mohan’s cute and bubbly nature and Pyare Mohan too likes Seema but obviously being the elder brother and a colleague of Pyare Mohan, Arjun Singh know that Pyare is a nice guy but then too does not like him too much. As it happens Seema Singh & Pyare Mohan keeping seeing each other at places where Arjun cannot find them and their romance blossoms. Seema Singh & Pyare Mohan think that if Ajrun who is unmarried falls in love somehow it might open doors for them as Arjun might understand their relation and accept it too. While protecting Neha, Arjun kind of start liking her but cannot tell her of his feelings but it Pyare Mohan how can smell something fishy about his friend’s behavior recently and notices that Arjun likes Neha. Pyare Mohan pushes Arjun to take her out and share his feelings with her which he does and Neha accepts paving the way for Seema Singh & Pyare Mohan to openly call their love as well. Meanwhile their identicals have reached a scrap bazzar and make complete fools out off the local traders and cheat them again, when the local traders reach the police station to lodge a complain for the same they are confornted by Arjun Singh & Pyare Mohan in police uniforms and the traders are shell shocked to see them right in front of their eyes. Here the matter is solved as to the presence of their duplicates creating all these havocs in the market place. Then the murders get to know where Neha has been kept safely and they try to attack her but Arjun Singh & Pyare Mohan do their duty well this time and safe her. Neha reaches the court, identifies the culprits and they are sent behind the bar for good. Everything falses into place and Arjun Singh & Pyare Mohan receive recognition for their bravery. All well that ends well.
