Bollywood movie Chal Mere Bhai Chal Mere Bhai is a Bollywood movie that was released on May 4th 2000. The Bollywood has been directed by the king of comedy movies in Bollywood, David Dhawan while the producer of this film is Nitin Manmohan. The star cast for this movie includes leading Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan, Dalip Tahil, Shakti Kapoor and actress Karisma Kapoor stars along side them. Twinkle Khanna gave a guest appearance in the movie. The story of the movie is about two brothers, who also happen to be quite close to each other and are better friends and brothers. The elder one Vicky played by actor Sanjay Dutt is the sincere one and keeps the family empire going and works hard at it. The other is a playboy named Prem played by actor Salman Khan, the darling of his brother's eye, and of his grandmother, but their father Balraj Oberoi played by actor Dalip Tahil wants him to mend his ways. Vicky is very busy with the filing of global tenders for getting international business and Prem has no time from his dancing and jumping and riding his modified imported car all over the city. Prem also happens to be an aspiring actor. While Prem’s father is not very supportive of Prem desire but his brother and his grandmother are very supportive of the same. Vicky is in love with a beautiful young woman, and they hope to marry soon. Unfortunately, this woman passes away in an accident, leaving Vikcy devastated and heart-broken. Thus now the only thing that he has interest left in his seeing the growth of the family business. Vicky is in need of a secretary who can handle some of his filing work and other office needs. Sapna played by actress Karisma Kapoor comes into the frame here. She is a girl who is living with her uncle played by actor Shakti Kapoor and her aunt played by actress Himani Shivpuri since her parents have long ago passed away. She happen to approach Vicky for the post of secretary, Vicky is glad to offer the job but finds out that she has no experience and therefore tells her that she is not qualified for the job. Sapna is very disappointed, she tearfully exits the office, only to run into Balraj, who takes pity on her and hires her. Vicky does not go against his dad's wishes and accepts Sapna as his secretary. At first she just keeps making mistakes after mistakes, she is actually so nervous by the presence of Vicky who happens to be a task master that seeing him she cannot even file the paper properly. But gradually she settles into her job and does her duties very well which impresses Vicky no end. At the same time Prem starts liking Sapna for a sweetness & simplicity. During the lunch breaks from the office Sapna and Prem start seeing each other over coffee and then over the lunch and they grow ever more close. One day Vicky gets drawn in a fight and during that flight he sustains major injury and hospitalized. Sapna spends all her free time looking after him, and the Oberoi family feels she will make a good wife for Vicky. Vicky too starts to like Sapna very much but Sapna is completely unaware of such developments and is living her life in the love of Prem. Vicky one day shares it with his brother Prem that he thinks he has found love again. Vicky thinks that the care Sapna took of him after his fight was an indication of her love for him but tells Prem that he likes Sapna to which Prem is left speechless. Prem immediately starts to withdraw from the life of Sapna and Sapna too gets to know that Sir Vicky wants to marry her. Both Prem and Sapna keep their feelings hidden from the rest of the family thinking that the family shall be annoyed with Prem that he is trying to take away the happiness of his elder brother. So Prem and Sapna decide to sacrifice their love. Ultimately Vicky gets to know about their love and while he shows he is getting ready to marry Sapna he is actually getting the house decorated and lit up to get Prem and Sapna married to each other but Prem and Sapna do not know this. In the end Prem and Sapna get married to each other for a happy ending.
