Bollywood Actor Fardeen Khan

Fardeen Khan

Fardeen Khan is a maverick to say the least; this dashing Bollywood personality was born on March 8, 1974 in India. His father is Bollywood’s original cow boy, actor-director Feroz Khan and his mother is Gauri Khan. His uncle is another famed Bollywood personality Sanjay Khan while his cousins are Bollywood actor Zayed Khan and sister is Suzzane Roshan. Fardeen was brought in India but during his growing years he was sent to the US for further education and that resulted in him picking up a quite distinctive American accent. He finished his graduation in Business Management in USA itself from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Feroz Khan directed ‘Prem Aggan’ for Fardeen which launched his son’s Bollywood career; this film hit the screens in 1998. The Film did not do well at the box office but he acted well enough to earn Filmfare Award for Best Debut in the male category. His very next movie ‘Jungle’ directed by Ram Gopal Verma was a hit and gave him the chance to find his feet in the cut throat competition of Bollywood. Since then on continuously, sometimes finding success and sometimes not so being able to find success but he kept collaborating and working in Ram Gopal Verma movies.

Thereafter there were slues of movies that Fardeen Khan appeared in but most of them either bombed on the box office or went unnoticed. Film such as Hum Ho Gaye Aap ke released in 2001, then ‘Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Love ke liye Kuch Bhi Karega also released in 2001 were least impressive and had really no chance of faring well at the box office. Though the latter one – Love ke liye Kuch Bhi Karega had good sense of comedy in it but overall the movie’s script had nothing to suggest that what story was being narrated. Surely Fardeen does not belong to the same class of the fab four Khan’s of Bollywood namely Saif Ali, Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan but then he has never claimed that he attempting to join the high profile group and make it a 5 Khan group.

His moment of shame came on 5th May 2001, on that day he was taken into custody on charges of cocaine possession. During this moment of despair two humans stood next to him like a wall unwilling to fall. Fardeen’s mom and Ruheen. Ruheen took the stand herself that she is not going to desert him even if it means that she will have to live all by herself away from her parents against their will, all this just for Fardeen. Her permanent residential address was in Delhi but she shifted base to Mumbai just because she wanted to be there for him when he needed her the most. That wonderful gestured made Fardeen love her more and the relationship lasted for nearly four years. But as Fardeen’s career woes continued unabated the two decided that the time was ripe to follow individual paths.

In the year 2005, Fardeen finally delivered his biggest hit till date and the years biggest grossing movie, the multi cast ‘No Entry’ having big Bollywood stars like Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Lara Dutta and Bipasha Basu. He also acted brilliantly in another of his 2005 movie titled "Shaadi No.1" co-starring with Sanjay Dutt, Zayed Khan, Sharman Joshi, Ayesha Takia, Soha Ali Khan, Esha Deol, Riya Sen, Aarti Chhabria, Sophie Chaudhary, Satish Shah and Rajpal Yadav. He also played major role in 2007 hit movie Heyy Babyy along with Boman Irani and Akshay Kumar.

As of today this handsome lad is a married man. He is married to Natasha Madhwani. Natasha is the daughter of former Bollywood actress Mumtaz. On 6th May, 2005 the couple got engaged. On 14th December, 2005 their marriage reception was carried out through registration service. In India, it is allegedly that JW Marriott and Hyatt were the two venues where three successive days of celebrations took place.
