The enormously trendy actor Gulshan Grover is a gleaming artiste and is known in the silver screen industry for his villainous character portrayals. He is regarded as versatile actor par brilliance. He asserts that all sort of roles incite him and he is competent enough to portray all sorts of characters. After achieving so much of name and eminence he asserts that he would be doing few quality roles in a year He claims that he loves to act and whether it is Hollywood or Bollywood he simply believes in performing his character honestly.

Gulshan has already made a mark in the Bollywood and Hollywood film industry. He made his debut in the profession of acting in the year 1980 with a film called Hum Paanch. His career saw some more strength with movies like Rocky, Arth and Sadma. playing consecutive villainous roles he has made a special place on silver screen by enacting grey bad man roles in Bollywood chart busters like Mera Jawaab, Andar bahar, Jaal and Ram Lakhan. In Hollywood also he carved a special niche for himself with movies like Monsoon and Desperate Connections. He claims that he has never planned anything in life and desires to have his name in Guinness book of world records for performing in more than 200 different hair styles, 200 beards and about 200 moustaches.

The actor was born on 21st September, 1956 in Delhi and graduated from Shri Ram College of Commerce. Hailing from a Punjabi family the actor is settled well with his wife and a son. His only ambition after graduating from college was to do something that would make him popular and provide him luxuries in life. Initially he had accepted every role that came his way but with time and his experimental attitude he has become the famous bad man (Villain) of Bollywood. He has acted in over 400 films opposite almost every hero from early 80’s and performed molestation or rape of innumerous actresses like Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor, Karisma kapoor, Rekha, Hema Malini, Rani Mukerji, Priyanka Chopra, Parveen babi and more on screen. Few of his famous movies as a villain that spell success for him were Yes Boss(co-starring with Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, Johnny Lever and Aditya Pancholi), Ram Jaane and Duplicate.

Actor admits that he had been refusing films with repetitive roles as he feels that he has immense potential to deliver more than just being a villain. And where ever there is a will there is way as he soon got offers from Hollywood and few brilliant character roles in Bollywood too. His performance as a jailor in Teen Deewarien has been appreciated by critics. The most amazing thing about him is the excitement he performs his roles with and how he works on his looks to give the character recognition absolutely unique from the entire film. If one compares his looks in different roles such as advisory in Jajantaram Mamantaram, a filthy rich husband in Jism(co-starring with Bipasha basu, John Abraham and produced by Mahesh Bhatt), a real baddie of Ek aur Ek Gyarah(co-starring with Sanjay Dutt, Govinda, Jackie Shroff, Rajpal Yadev) or a divorcee in art movie Leela(co-starring with Dimple Kapadia, Deepti Naval and Vinod Khanna) he looked just perfect in all of them.

Being a well read man he deems in being goal oriented and surely works towards achievement of his goals. Acting as villain he has surpassed all and is happy to have achieved success as a bad man in Bollywood. Now the actors look towards other prospective and try doping different things than molesting actresses on screen. When accused of having failed he came back shutting their mouth with performances and roles in Hollywood and passed with flying colors in that industry too.

Gulshan grover now a marked villain of glamour world talks about his forthcoming films with sparkle in his eyes. He even has few Hollywood projects on hand like Beeper. His passion and sincerity is admirable and his lust to play good roles defines his success. The actor however denies idolizing anyone in his life as he asserts that performances and personalities fall short of expectations at times and this leads to disappointment.

He never tires of playing bad roles and seeing himself beaten up on screen again and again as he justifies that it is significant for villain to die to keep moralities alive in people.
