Bollywood movie Hum Sath Sath Hain

Hum Sath Sath Hain is a movie made under the banner of the Bollywood legendary filmmaking house of Rajshri Productions (P) Ltd. that was released in the year 1999. Sooraj Barjatya is the director of Hum Sath Sath Hain while the Barjatya family has produced it. The movie is a multi-starrer film with the likes of Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Tabu, Mohnish Behl, Sonali Bendre, Reema Lagoo, Alok Nath, Neelam Kothari, Satish Shah and Shakti Kapoor staring in the movie along with others. This is a complete family drama movie and was liked by audiences all of age groups. This movie was a nationwide success.

The movie is the story of a joint family where there are 3 sons and a daughter who live along with their parents. They’re all one happy family and all of them sit together and enjoy their oneness. The eldest son is Vivek (Mohnish Behl), while the other three siblings are Prem (Salman Khan), Vinod (Saif Ali Khan) and Sangeeta (Neelam Kothari). Sangeeta is already married while the rest of the three brother are yet to get married. At a party to celebrate their parent’s wedding aniversary Vivek first meets Sadhna (Tabu) and the two of them instantly connect. Vivek likes Sadhna while Sadhna likes Vivek when she sees that he has utter most respect for his parent despite Mamta (Reema Lagoo) not being his biological mother. Once the party is over both Vivek’s and Sadhna’s father meet and think that two would make an ideal couple. Vivek at first refuses, this because one of his hand has been handicapped while saving his younger brother’s life many years ago and now thinks he will not be a suitable husband for her. But it is Sadhna who comes forward and say that she has problems with such an injury and would like to get married to Vivek.

The prepartions for the marriage are soon completed and the day arrives for the lovely couple to get married. It is here in the movie that we are introduced to the love interest of Prem who loves Preeti (Sonali Bendre). The two of them are childhood friends and have a crush on each other but none of the two have confessed this to the other. Though the relation is quite obvious but it is like Preeti is waiting for Prem to come forward and tell her that he loves her. While the youngest son Vinod (Saif Ali Khan) likes Sapna (Karisma Kapoor). During an event at the wedding party Vinod and Sapna act like Prem & Preeti and make a complete hillarious replication of the relation of Prem & Preeti which goes down well with all.

Then after sometime passes to their marriage there is a twist in the story, Sangeeta their sister is throw out of her house along with her husband and kid by her brother-in-law to take control their business. This becomes known to Ramkishen’s family and Mamta’s three friends come and tell Mamta that the same thing could happen to Vinod and Prem when for the greed of money Vivek could take over the large business family. This leads to Mamta telling Vivek and Sapna who happens to be pregnant to shift to a factory site that is under construction. Everyone stiffly opposes Mamta’s opinion but she to is rigid on her stand and Vivek and Sapna obidently leave. Then after some time Sangeeta’s brother-in-law faces sever losses in his business and realizes that it was the goodwill and good customer relations that made the business so successful and then immediately calls back his brother and Sangeeta to their house.

This makes Mamta too realizes that Vivek will always take care of his brothers and never harm them in any way. Sangeeta tells her mother that during the crisis she faced Vivek was the only help they got. Mamta is moved and cannot stay any longer without Vivek and Sapna and ask them to come back home. Sadhna's baby is born. Prem and Vinod also get married. The story ends with a happy ending.
