Bollywood Movie Kaante Kaante is a Bollywood multi-starrer movie was released on 20th December 2002. Sanjay Gupta has directed Kaante and its producer is Raju Gupta. The movie has a mega star cast consisting of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Mahesh Manjrekar, Lucky Ali, Kumar Gaurav and Rati Angihotri. This movie was entirely shot in Los Angeles, United States. It is a complete action thriller and the movie is about 6 men who rob an American bank and how they are then suspecting their own partners in crime killing one after the other. This action packed movie was a hit at the box office and successful internationally too. The plot of the movie starts by showing all the characters by held by the police for under suspicion of stealing a truck but since none of them was found to be guilty they were let off after being put behind the bars. The six are Yashvardhan ‘Major’ Rampal (Amitabh Bachchan) who happens to be the oldest in the group. Sanjay Dutt: "Jay 'Ajju' Rehan" is a club owner. He the person who robs that truck in the 1st scene which actually is carrying a full load of laptops due to which all six people are detained for questioning. Maqbool 'Mak' Haider (Lucky Ali) is the person who poses to be one of them but is actually happens to be an undercover policeman assigned to infiltrate the group, and that he get there by befriending 'Bali'. Raj 'Bali' Yadav (Mahesh Manjrekar) is a drug peddler and a motor mouth. He stutters badly while speaking. 'Marc' Issak (Sunil Shetty) is a bouncer in a club. Anand 'Andy' Mathur (Kumar Gaurav) is a software engineer. Now once they come out of jail they decide that they shall teach those cops who put them behind the bars a lesson and so they set out to plan a bank robbery in LA itself and then decide to meet at a common point and then distribute the money. The robbery is meticulously planned, they like all other big time thieves have a complete map of the bank that they are planning to rob and then also try and identify the loopholes in the entrance. They are also discussing that even though the Italians have their Mafia, the Colombians have their Cartels, but the East Indian criminal community is yet to forge a Bhai-type organization, resulting in their getting pulled-in as the usual suspects every time there is a crime involving a colored person. They decide that they are going to rob that American Services Bank as this bank has a large number account holders and has most of its dealing with city police. Well they are then done with the planning and each one of them is assigned a special task, which has to be carried out prissily at the right time and in a particular way. They then finally set out to achieve for what they have been planning so long. They enter the bank and are successful in getting their job done and also have the loot but upon exiting the bank they come face to face with the cops who are waiting for them outside. There is huge gunfire exchange and they all manage to escape but the routes are all different, one after the other they all reach the site that had been set previously in their meeting. Everyone knows that someone amongst is the informer but Ajju who manages to abduct a police officer & a detective and it is through these two officials that Ajjju get a confirmation that someone leaked the information but who did that no one knows. The only problem is the informer is not willing to come forward - and the gangsters end up suspecting each other and their respective motives. Thus all of them kill each other and the only survivor is Anand 'Andy' Mathur at the end of the movie.
