Bollywood movie Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya is a Bollywood movie that was released on July 15th 2005. The king of comedy movies in Bollywood, Mr. David Dhawan has directed this movie while its producer’s are Seema Kar, Sohail Khan & Dhilin Mehta. The lead actors for this movie are Salman Khan, Sushmita Sen, Katrina Kaif, Arshad Warsi, Sohail Khan and Isha Koppikar. The film was not only a hit in India but remained on the 20 UK movie charts for 15 consecutive weeks. Samir played by actor Salman Khan is a doctor by profession and a patient of love. He tells all the girls that he is married and then flirts with them in an attempt to know who is the girl who really loves him the most even knowing that he is married when actually he is a complete bachelor. At his medical clinic where is a doctor of bones he has a pretty charming secretary named Naina played by actress Sushmita Sen who takes care of all the work regarding doctor Samir. Samir has a cool friend named Vicky played by actor Arshad Warsi who happens to often visit Samir’s clinic not to meet Samir though just to meet Samir’s charming secretary Naina. But Naina is not one bit interested in Vicky and thinks he is a complete loafer. Samir though does have a current love interest in the form of Sonia played by actress Katrina Kaif who happens to be a really gorgeous looking model who lives independently but all alone in the concrete jungle of a large city. But then she has a new neighbor in the form of Pyare played by actor Sohail Khan who happens to save her life when she attempts to commit suicide when Samir does not come to meet her even after promising her to visit her. Sonia eating a couple of tablets of sleeping pills and Pyare notices her lying in a bad condition. When Samir comes to meet her he sees Pyare to be over hearing their romantic conversation. Pyare isn’t too fond of Samir and dislikes him and also doesn’t want Sonia to get married to Samir. Samir tells Sonia the same thing that he is married to which Sonia tells him that she would like to meet his wife (who really doesn’t exist). Now here is where the fun part begins in this Bollywood movie? Samir has no wife and Sonia wants to meet his wife so that she can know why she is willing to divorce him. Samir tells Sonia that once his wife divorces him he will marry her. Samir now has to get a fake wife and for this he pleads to Naina. Naina at 1st completely refuses to be dragged into the doctor’s personal life but then agrees. Samir even sets up a fake courtroom and a judge who shall grant the divorce to Samir and Naina but as the fake judge is going to deliver the verdict in comes Samir’s mother played by actress Beena Kak. She spoils Samir’s plan and takes Naina with her to the family home and calls Naina her lawful daughter-in-law. She is not aware that what is going behind the scenes and thinks she will do everything to make Samir and Naina live like husband and wife. Samir’s mother even makes them go for a vacation abroad but Samir take Sonia with him and tells Naina to join the office. On their return Samir tells Naina that enough is enough and now she will have to acts as if she hates his mother and tells her to abuse her mother so that she returns to Punjab. Finally things start falling in place for Samir, Naina abuses Samir’s mother and Samir’s mother leaves the house. Naina returns to work and Samir is going to marry Sonia. But then Sonia tells Samir that he will be happier in the company of Naina who has taken such good care of him at the time. Samir too realizes that he has made a mistake in not recognizing Naina’s love for him. Naina is about to leave for unknown destination when through the heavy traffic Samir manages to reach the airport and convinces her that he loves her. It a happy ending to a fun filled movie full of Bollywood masala entertainment.
