Bollywood Actress Rakhi Sawant
Rakhi Sawant's birthday falls 25th November 1978 in Mumbai, India. Rakhi Sawant hails from a Marathi family. She hailed from a poor family. Rakhi has a sister named Jaya while her brother's name is Rakesh. Her mother Mrs. Usha Sawant is known to be quite to her. Rakhi early studies took place at the Goklibai School, Vile Parle and upon finishing her primary education she then studied Arts at Mithibai College in Mumbai itself. Her first brush with Bollywood came when well known Bollywood director the 'Dhadkan' fame Suneel Darshan asked her if she would like to dance in a film song in the movie 'Joru Ka Gulam' opposite Bollywood's premier actor/dancer Govinda. Her father did not accept of the idea and Rakhi had to let go off his opportunity. Rakhi later started her career as a bar dance. So here is where there are first signs of double standards. Her father is a police personnel, he disapproves of her acting in item numbers for Bollywood song and dance sequences (Bollywood he thinks might be a disgraceful career option) so he then allows her to be a bar dancer (being a police personnel he might have visited numerous dance bars so he knows how safe her will be there (this is all cynically however)). After 3 years of making a living through her activities at a dance bar in Mumbai she appeared for 4 Bollywood movie item songs and finally got her chance in the song 'Mohabbat hai Mirchi' in movie 'Chura Liya Hai Tumne' that was released in the year 2003. It is said that after a succession of item number appearances that very quite exposing to say the least she and her father had a major spat and thereafter were not on talking terms. Mrs. Usha Sawant, Rakhi's however was not reserved to her acting in Bollywood movies and numbers. This could partly be because Usha Sawant had in her hey days too received quite a few offers to act in movies though they were Gujarati movie roles. She even landed her 1st even role in a movie but had to later give it up because husband and Rakhi's father Mr. Sawant did not approve of her being actively involved in movie after their marriage. Even though Mrs. Usha left actively for good she always wished that her kids would one day grow up and fulfill her dream. And that's exactly what Rakhi is doing along with her sister and brother. Her brother is currently involved in directing a Bollywood movie. While her sister acted in two small movies and like her mother left acting after she got married. But Rakhi's entire career can be summed up in one word - CONTROVERSY. Yes what ever she does creates a controversy. She says something its controversy, and then when she doesn't about it, it's a controversy, she dances in item numbers or music videos it opens up a new controversy, she goes to a party and creates a controversy. So embroiled has her life and career been in controversy that today people have started loving her and hating her because of the numerous controversies. She speaks so loudly about her likes and dislikes that as if she wants to tell people that this is the way she is and love her or hate her that's the way she is. She will let aides too know she doesn't like them and this practice surely will not win her many friends in the Bollywood film industry. She has entered many TV dance contest, reality TV contest and other shows. The one thing that you'd like to admire her is that she tries hard and wants to win no matter even if she doesn't deserve to win. She is and bet you if she doesn't change, she will never be known for her acting credentials. She will only be known for been a person who sold sex in the Bollywood industry, for showing off her flesh and behaving like a doll and pussy cat when she is a completely vulgar actress making the most of till it all lasts.
