Bollywood Movie Saawariya Saawariya is a Bollywood movie of romantic genre and happens to be the debut movie of two of Bollywood’s newest sensations, Ranbir Kapoor & Sonam Kapoor. Celebrated Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has directed this movie while the production of the movie was done by major Hollywood studio Columbia Tristar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali Films. The movie-starred actors Ranbir Kapoor & Sonam Kapoor along side Bollywood superstar actor Salman Khan and leading lady Rani Mukerji. The movie was release in theaters worldwide on November 9th 2007. The movie is completely about whom you love and does love ever depend on the reciprocation of that love by the person you. Ranbir Raj played by actor Ranbir Kapoor happens to be a free spirit. He lives his life amidst the beauty of what nature has to offer, this beauty of nature is what inspires him to be a singer, a painter, a dreamer or in one word a complete – artist. He will move from one place to another in search for his next inspiration, something that will force him to pen his next song, to copy it on canvas or to sit all night long admiring nature’s creation. This search for a new inspiration takes him to a silent truly picturesque village and upon reaching there is sure that this is his ultimate dream destination where nature’s beauty is the best he has ever witnessed. Tall unending mountains, green pastures surround the village, a lovely old age bridge connecting the two parts of the village and much more are the visuals of this beautiful town. He decides that he will have to stay back here to capture its natural beauty. He takes up a job in the town’s best club as its lead singer to earn a living. One day while singing he happens to bump into Gulabji played by actress Rani Mukerji. Gulabji on seeing Raj’s immense talent falls for him and personally starts admiring his wonderful talent and innocent charm. But as fate has it Raj was destined for something else. One night while copying the town’s beauty and especially the part of the old bridge he happens to take notice of a young girl standing in the middle of the bridge with an umbrella and her back towards him. He grows inquisitive as to who she is and what is she doing all alone on the bridge in the middle of the night. He walks up to the bridge and tries to get acquainted with her but she happens to be a shy girl and does not speak to Raj. This girl happens to be Sakina played by actress Sonam Kapoor. She is a shy, quite and enigmatic girl. Raj with gets intrigued by her silence and keeps following her all the time just to know her. Thus starts a new friendship and slowly Raj wants to win her heart by the way of his charm but Sakina rarely ever opens up. Raj upon meeting her finds that she is holding up some sadness in her heart that is evident in her eyes. He cannot tolerate this and decides that he has to talk to someone about this thus he approaches the landlady, Lillian played by actress Zohra Sehgal and Gulabji but they too have no idea of the reasons. Just as when Raj decides that he has to tell Sakina about his love for her, Sakina decides that she has to share the truth behind her sorrow with him. She opens up to him and tells him that she has been waiting all this time for the return of her true love Imaan played by actor Salman Khan. She tells him that a year ago Imaan had left her and promised that he would come back and meet her at the bridge and that’s why she keeps waiting for him on that bridge. Raj doesn’t hesitate to confess his love for her to her. Sakina does not respond to Raj at first but then gradually she can see that he has good feelings for her and starts to reciprocate his love feelings. Just as things are looking good for Raj & Sakina, Imaan returns back as per his promise. Upon seeing Imaan, Sakina completely forgets the presence of Raj and goes ecstatic. Raj recognizes the fact that Sakina will be happier with Imaan and tells her that he will spend his life in constant memory of the time he spent with her and bids her adieu. Sakina leaves with Imaan.
