Bollywood Actor Sohail Khan
Personal Sohail khan was born on December 20, 1970 in India. He belongs to a family that has strong relationship with Bollywood. His father, Salim Khan is a successful scriptwriter and the name of her mother is Salma Khan, while her step mother is a dancer and actress, Helen. Bollywood super stars Arbaaz Khan and Salman Khan are his elder brothers. He has two sisters; Alvira Khan married to Bollywood actor Atul Agnihotri and younger sister Arpita Khan who is also working in a movie of his brother Sohail Khan’s production company. Sohail Khan feels that his call in Bollywood film industry is for comedy and he thinks that there is much work in the field of acting to do. He remained in touch with Bollywood film industry because his whole family was involved in it. He is Muslim Bollywood star who knows Hindi and English. Sohail Khan is married to Seema Sachdev and has one son, Irfaan Khan. Career Sohail Khan made his directorial debut with Auzaar in which hi brother Salman Khan and Sanjay Kapoor performed. It was not a big hit although he did hard work on it. After Auzaar his second film was Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya in which he directed Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan. This was a hit film and then he directed Hello Brother which was less successful. Sohail Khan wrote and produced a movie Fight Club - Members Only which was not a hit at box office. Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya has encouraged him to carry on his work and showed the potential which he had. He started his acting career in 2002 with debut film Maine Dil Tujhko Diya. He himself was the writer, producer, director and actor in this film but it was not a hit film on box office. Then he acted in some movies but none of them was a hit on box office. In 2005 Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya was his first hit in which he performed with his brother Salman Khan. In 2006 he acted in a drama, Aryan in which his performance was appreciated very much. In 2007 he acted in a multi-starrer film Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute To Love. Sohail Khan produced a film Partner in which his brother Salman Khan and Govinda performed lead roles and it was a big hit on the box office. He announced to work as an actor with his brothers; Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan in Amar Akbar Anthony which is a remake of Manmohan Desai film. He is also working with Salman Khan foundation which is developed recently. Sohail Khan has many plans in future to do work on many projects in collaboration with his brother Salman, Govinda and David Dhawan. They were thinking on Partner a concept like Tom and Jerry but they have not finalized it. Sohail Khan is thinking that Partner would be a successful film because they have worked hard for this film. Sohail Khan likes to produce and direct comedy films.He thinks it is the best thing for entertainment but in order to show a serious movie he has to show voilence and fight which he does not like. Sohail Khan enjoys in directing and prodcucing films instead of acting. But he has plan in future to act with his brothers. He is talented young man who learns with experience and from elders. It is not easy to start career with direction or production but he started from it which shows his ability. In the movie 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya' Sohail Khan acted opposite to Katrina Kaif. It is about the relationships of a womanizing doctor named 'Samir' (Salman Khan) who gets ultimately stuck between two women: a patient with suicidal tendencies named 'Sonia' (Katrina Kaif) and his nurse 'Naina' (Sushmita Sen). The movie is a remake of the 1969 Hollywood comedy Cactus Flower, starring Walter Matthau, Ingrid Bergman and Goldie Hawn.The tagline of the movie is "Liar liar, love's on fire".In the movie lawyer Vicky (Arshad Warsi) who, despite having a steady girlfriend (Isha Koppikar), frequently flirts with Naina(Sushmita Sen).
