Bollywood Actor Uday Chopra
Uday Chopra is a star kid and a budding actor who is known to be the son of great legendary producer and director, Yash Chopra. He is also the brother of the top director of great films like Mohabbatein and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Aditya Chopra. He has also worked as the Assistant Director in the movies directed by his father and brother. Uday Chopra himself owns a websites which he updates often for people to know more about him. He tells that he was not into the film like his brother. He knew very little about films and was the least concerned about things happening and the people present. He also tells that he was pretty happy in the world he lived which was completely different and away from the film industry. Only later, he came to know more about the industry which his father owned and what his father did to earn his living. He was also unaware of the respect his dad received from the industry and also did not know how big his father was. Later, he started hearing from the conversation of his family and friends about the great achievements made by his home productions. It was only slowly that he understood something was unique and special about things happening around. As he grew up he started realizing about the importance of film industry and what he could attain from the same. With this growing career he also looked upon the aspects of the film industry and started growing along with it. Mohabbatein proved his skills as it was his first movie and was directed by his brother. The film was a milestone for many of the debutants including Kim Sharma, Jimmy Sherigill, Shamita Shetty, Jugal Hansraj and Preeti Jhangiani. The movie was altogether a multi starrer one having the great stars of Indian Cinema like Amitabh Bachan, Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai. The film was considered as a big hit by the Box Office and also proved the success all over the globe. The films done by Uday was under the shelter of his father’s house of production. The first hit by him was in the year 2004 for the film Dhoom and he also starred in the second part of the same film. Dhoom 2 was released in 2006 and also bagged several awards for the outstanding performances, story, script, graphics etc. Later, he started out with the production unit by joining hands with his brother Aditya Chopra. Presently, he is working under the digital rights and Information Technology team of his company. Hrithik Roshan, the star of today is also a close friend of Uday Chopra and has stared together in the movie Dhoom 2. The latest news says that Uday is dating Tanisha the co star in the film Neal ‘n’ Nikki which is another film made under his home production. The film picturized Uday as a cool boy starring in the movie against a girl is also a little naughty. The movie did well overseas even though it dint do well within the country. The major aspect of the film was comedy and romance and it was filled with these features. Three successive films for Uday in the year 2002 were Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, Mohabbatein where he played the character of Rohan, Sanju and Vikram correspondingly. Uday did the film Supari in the year 2003 where he was named Chirkut. The greatest hits in the year 2004 were Charas and Dhoom playing the character of Ali and Fishy correspondingly. Neal N Nikki was his movie for the year 2005 where he played the role of Neal where as Dhoom 2 was a super hit for him in the year 2006 where he played the character of Ali. Something exclusive about Uday is that he also worked as Assistant Director for the movie Darr and Parampara in the year 1993. Uday Chopra worked as the executive producer for the film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge(starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol) and Hum Tum in the year 2004 starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji and Rishi Kapoor in lead roles. He also worked as the producer of the movie Yeh Dillagi in the year 1994. He says that he has been in the industry and all that he owns now is from his father and he will be sticking on to this career for ever to bring in lot more great films to the people.
