Bollywood Actor Vivek Oberoi
Vivek Oberoi was born in the year 1976 on September 3rd at Chennai in Tamil Nadu. He is a well known Bollywood actor and is also known to be a capable person engaged in society works. The great Indian actor Suresh Oberoi is the father of Vivek Oberoi. He was educated from the Mayo College and also at the Ajmer and Mithibai College situated at Mumbai. He was picked up by the director of NYU at an actor’s workshop located in London. Later, he was taken to finish with the masters degree in film acting at New York City. Therefore, he could be known as a trained actor who took a break by doing some scripting before stepping his feet into acting. The debut film which brought stardom for the Oberoi kid was the movie named Company directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The film was declared to be a big and his acting in the movie was considered to be extraordinary. It was something beyond expectations for a new comer. It was more promising to him when he bagged the Filmfare Award for the Best Debut as well as for the category of Best Supporting Actor for the same film. His hard work and the perfection was reflected in the movie Raad and Dum which were action movies. Both these were declared to be a hit and praised the actor’s ability. One of his major hit includes the film ‘Sathiya’ opposite Rani Mukerji and the movie was directed by Shaad Ali under the Yash Raj Films banner. It marked to be a turning point for Vivek as he got several offers after this wonderful romantic hit. It is the remake of the Tamil movie named ‘Alaipayuthe’ where he plays the character of Madhavan and Rani plays that of Shalini. The movie came out to be wonderful and bright one with lots of sweet and soft melodies by A.R Rahman. He was also nominated under the Best Actor category for several awards. Another hit which made him the real hero and recognized him to be a comedian apart from chocolate boy was the film Masti where was accompanied with Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivadasani in the year 2004. Even though plenty of negative reviews arouse as part of the comments, the movie became a big hit and was a quite shocking one for people. The movie also had some great actors and actresses on the row which was another advantage of it. The songs of the movie added to the success as it was sweet, unique and were a little different from the usual ones. Another hit from his side was the controversial movie called Yuva which noted his performance to be one in thousands. The movie had other great stars including Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukherji and Abhishek Bachan. The music was by A.R Rahman and it made the movie even more successful. Kaal was another hit from Vivek Oberoi which was categorized under thriller. The movie came into the theaters in the year 2005 and was picturized in Corbett National Park and was the story told about tigers. The movie became a big hit and was congratulated by people about the style, effort and the story. The movie keeps you silent, thrilled and curious about the things which are happening in the movie. The effort taken by Vivek is simply remarkable and was appreciated largely. He also participated in the stage show by Mani Ratnam known as Tamil, Netru, Indru, Nalai. Other films include Omkara based on the play by Shakespeare named Othello. He played the character of Kesu in the movie similar to Michael Cassio. The movie 'Shootout at Lokandwala' was yet another contribution from Vivek to the film industry where he first time worked with top indian actors and actresses like Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Arbaaz Khan, Tusshar Kapoor, Amrita Singh, Dia Mirza, Neha Dhupia and Rakhi Sawant. Earlier, Vivek was engaged to the famous model Gurpreet which was later broken due several reasons which are still kept to be secret. Later, he dated the famous actress and model Aishwarya Rai who is now the daughter of in law of Bachan family. Personally Vivek love to be volunteered in several society works and he has also proved his ability in certain places. After the greatest natural calamity by Tsunami, Vivek sponsored an entire village thus proving his potential and love to work for people.
